Q. When can we walk on the floor?

A. After the tile is set overnight is a sufficient amount of time to wait. After grouting, about 2-3 hours is fine.

Q. What should we clean the tile with?

A. You should clean the tile with any kind of product that doesn't leave a film. Products like "MOP & GLO" are not good for tile. You should use cleaners like "MR. CLEAN" or "PINE-SOL." There are also a few products on the market designed to clean tile, "TILEX" being one of them.

Q. Should I seal the grout?

A. Although sealing the grout is not necessary, it is a good idea. It will make the cleaning process much easier. You should let the grout cure for about one week before sealing.

Q. Why is my grout crumbling?

A. This is a tell-tale sign that the tiles around the crumbling grout are loose. When the loose tiles move, the grout starts to give and crumbles. If you see this happening you should have them repaired as soon as possible.
